Market Performance and Supply  It is difficult to compile statistics for the development of factoring in the Czech Republic, because until 2000 there was no association or similar body responsible for collecting relevant data. Nevertheless, one thing is clear: the volume achieved by the leading factoring companies is growing. Comparing data from the five major factoring companies operating in the market, their total volume increased from CZK 19,200m in 1998 to CZK 26,800m in 1999. Further growth of 15 – 20% is forecast for 2000.
