Togo factoring market grows in anticipation of new legislation

In Togo, factoring has recorded a positive development since its introduction in 2019.

Outstanding financing by factoring increased from FCFA 2bn (£2.6m) in June 2021 to FCFA9bn (£11.8m) at the end of June 2022. That is an increase of 350 per cent year-on-year.

The Togolese Minister of Economy and Finance, Sani Yaya, believes that factoring activities should further progress in the country, following the adoption of a new favourable legal framework.
