Ten Spanish banks to launch an invoice registration platform by end of 2023

Ten Spanish banks have come together to launch a platform for invoice registration by the fourth quarter of 2023. Their aim is to help more SMEs to improve their liquidity, by making it easier for them to access factoring or confirming finance, and also to make it easier for Spain’s banks to do this too.  The 10 banks are:  Santander, CaixaBank,  BBVA, Sabadell, Unicaja, Kutxabank, Cajamar, Laboral Kutxa, Cesce and the subsidiary of the Italian bank BCF.  This is all coming together with the technological support of the global consultancy EY, and in collaboration with Spain’s Tax Agency. The other organisation which is very much involved is the Spanish Association of Factoring and Confirming (AEF).
