Survey of bank use by SMEs reveals credit expensive and difficult to come by


The Warsaw Banking Institute (WIB) and the CBM Indicator brokerage undertook a survey of bank use among small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) earlier this year. The survey covered companies that were in existence before 31 December 2000, and the samples included 600 small-sized companies (up to ZL3m annual sales) and 600 medium-sized companies (up to ZL20m annual sales).
