Sterling National Bank appoints representative for new Southeast Region


Sterling National Bank, a subsidiary of Sterling Bancorp, announced that it is extending its business presence in the southeastern United States. This new initiative will be lead by Barry Horowitz who has been appointed southeast regional representative.

Barry Horowitz will utilize his 25 years of experience in banking, lending and new business development to build relationships and opportunities for Sterling's many business units including asset-based lending, accounts receivable services, trade finance, residential and commercial real estate, , trust and estates, and others.

Until recently, Mr. Horowitz served as senior vice president and head of Sterling's New York Commercial Real Estate Division. He will be based in Palm Beach, Florida.

Sterling has operations in North Carolina, Virginia and other Mid-Atlantic States and conducts business nationwide.
