Sterling National Bank announces Manhattan banking and International trade services centre tailored to SME needs


Sterling National Bank, the principal banking subsidiary of financial holding company Sterling Bancorp, today announced a plan to open a new private and professional full service branch to be located in Manhattan. The new branch, expected to open in late February 2005, will also serve as an office for Sterling's Banking and International Trade Services Group.

The new Manhattan banking centre will offer a broad range of banking and financial service products including commercial lines of credit and term loans including factoring, brokerage and investment services, asset-based lending and equipment leasing products.
