The Finance Ministry has proposed splitting Exportni garancni a pojistovaci spolecnost (EGAP) guarantee and insurance company into two parts for a possible future sale.
The state insurer would continue to provide insurance, while the commercial segment of insuring short-term claims would be transferred to a subsidiary whose shares would be sold at a future date.
