Sparkling performance from major factoring and leasing company as sharply increased profits exceed Ђ6m


The net profit of Estonia's Uhisliising (Uhispank Leasing) group was 99 million kroons (Ђ6.33 m) last year against 58.4 million kroons (Ђ3.73m) the year before (an increase of nearly 70%).

The firm's ratio of operating expenses and incomes declined from 34 percent to 28 percent during the year, the firm reported. The size of the factoring portfolio increased by 57.6 percent and the leasing portfolio topped three billion kroons during the year.

The 2002 assets of the Uhisliising Group grew by 51 percent to 4.35 billion kroons.

Uhisliising's factoring portfolio reached 908 million kroons during the year. The factoring turnover swelled by 32.8 percent to four billion kroons. The market share of Uhisliising's factoring portfolio increased by 34 percent to 38 percent over the year.
