Spanish SME payment delays up 42%


The slowdown in the recovery of the Spanish economy and the adverse impact of inflation on the country’s businesses continue to affect their ability to pay suppliers on time, says the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Sized Businesses (CEPYME)

 In the first quarter of 2022 there have been average delays of 84 days, according to the Delinquency Observatory published by CEPYME and prepared in cooperation with Spanish Export Credit Agency (CESE) and Informa.
