Spanish Factoring Association releases 2017 results

The Spanish factoring Association (AEF) just released a few days ago the 2017 factoring and confirming results.

The sector grew by 13.01% recording a total volume of business of €146.292 bn. This amount represents factoring and confirming. Factoring accounts for 51.5% of the total amount and confirming has a share of 48.5 %.

It’s remarkable that the sector had almost the same growth in both products. Factoring has increased by 12,83% compared to the previous year and confirming by 13,20%.

The ratio between the local factoring and confirming turnover and GDP improved as well reaching 12.7% which is a very good result considering that the country growth recorded 3,1%.

AEF has increased not only the results, but the members as well. The number of AEF’s members reached 22 companies (19 members in 2016), recording the same level as before the crisis.
