The Finnish Confederation of Industry and Employers, TT, said its index measuring the business cycle outlook for small- and medium-sized companies rose to 26 points in July from 20 in April, its highest level since 2000.
It said production and exports are expected to continue improving towards to the end of the year.
According to TT, 31 per cent of the companies surveyed said they expect their situation to improve, 5 per cent anticipate a deterioration while 64 per cent foresee no change in their operating environment. "Order books rose for the first time in over three years slightly above the average level," TT said.
