SMEDA and Prime Bank to provide services to SMEs


The Small And Medium Size Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA) and Prime Bank have agreed to provide complete business solutions including financing to SMEs. The decision was made in a meeting between, Mr. Zahid Aziz, CEO, SMEDA and Mr. Saeed Iqbal Choudhry, president, Prime Bank at SMEDA head office.

The purpose of the meeting was to establish a mechanism for collaborating at institutional level and to complement each other’s efforts. It was decided to join forces for business promotion with special focus on SMEs. The parties resolved that SMEDA will provide assistance to Prime Bank in developing an SME financing model. SMEDA will also be assisting Prime Bank in developing various programme lending schemes for SMEs, which will be later financed by the bank.
