SME Club proposed


In order to facilitate small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan, the Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) has proposed the formation of an SME Club.

President UNISAME Zulfikar Thaver, in a message to Zahid Hussain, Chief Experts Advisory Cell (EAC), Ministry of Production and Industries, has proposed such a club should include members from banks, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (SMEDA), SME Associations, UNISAME, representatives of Ministry of Agriculture, Commerce, Finance, Planning and Development and Science and Technology.

He said the members of the proposed SME Club could contribute and share ideas, funds and volunteers and carry out joint uplift programmes for SMEs.
