SME Bank to create 5,000 new entrepreneurs


The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Bank of SME Bank announced its lending plan in accordance with the government's policy to develop and strengthen small and medium enterprises.

Under the plan which has been set for a five-year development period during 2005-2009, a lending target has been set to support new entrepreneurs of around 5,000-15,000 in total number.

In addition to loans, the bank will also assist these entrepreneurs to develop their knowledge, marketing skill, as well as technologies and know-how so as to build up and strengthen their business skill and capability.
