Credits of more than 42 m Bulgarian Leva were allocated to small enterprises under the Social Ministry's "Guarantee Fund for Micro Crediting" project over the past year, a Ministry report showed.
The funds were allocated in 4,104 loans granted, creating 866 new jobs. The largest sums went to entrepreneurs in the country's second-largest city of Plovdiv.
Most of the newly-created jobs, however, were in the capital Sofia, followed by Veliko Tarnovo and Plovdiv.
