Shares drop at Banca Italease as Monte dei Paschi di Siena sells 3% stake


Italian leasing and factoring group Banca Italease yesterday saw its share price drop by 1.29 per cent to close at 11.60 euros, after news emerged that banking group Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS) had sold its 3.17 per cent stake in a private placement to institutional investors at 11.50 euros per share. In the ten days since Italease was listed at an IPO price of 9.30 euros per share, shares had risen by 24 per cent. Source: Il Sole 24 Ore
