SGDB lending jumps by 41 per cent in H1 2005


The activities of the Slovak Guarantee and Development Bank (SGDB) remain focussed on small- and medium-sized enterprises segment (SMEs) while new partners for cooperation  are commercial banks and municipalities. In the first half of 2005 SGDB provided loans totaling Sk 558.2m which is an increase of 41 per cent compared to the same period last year.   The average guarantee amount per project rose from Sk 2.96m to Sk 5.168m. The provision of direct loans through SGD increased during the period from Sk 1,204.6m to Sk 1,345.7m.   Source:  Trend
