Russian Factoring Association publishes Q1 2018 results


The Association of Factoring Companies (AFC) published statistical indicators of Russian factoring activity for the first quarter of 2018. In the period January-March, participants to the factoring market registered a record amount of financing grated to their clients reaching RUB 483 billion (59% more than in Q1 2017). The total portfolio of the market by the end of the quarter reached RUB 383 billion, representing an increase of RUB 142 billion (+ 59%) over the previous year.

VTB Factoring is the leader of the market holding a share of 31% of the aggregate measured portfolio of the market, Alfa Bank has 13%, followed by GPB-factoring with 12%, Sberbank Factoring with 10%, and Promsvyazbank with 5%.
