The Royal Bank of Scotland Commercial Services Wins Marketing Award

The Royal Bank of Scotland Commercial Services (RBS Commercial Services) together with Conduit Business Information Ltd has won the Intelligent Use of Data: Financial Category Award at the annual Marketing Direct Intelligence Awards 2002, sponsored by The Royal Mail.

The Awards Presentation Dinner was held at The Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane. RBS Commercial Services and Conduit were chosen from a shortlist of six – Tesco Personal Finance, AMP retirement Services, CPP Group, People’s Choice (Europe), Alliance & Leicester.

Richard Blyth, Marketing Manager, accepting the Award for RBS Commercial Services, said, “We are very proud to have won this award, ahead of some strong competition. The idea behind the campaign was to simplify the concept of invoice finance for our prospects, identifying when they would need our services and making sure that the product offered was relevant, enabling us to reach them in a cost effective way.”
