Romanian Bank for Development nets profits from domestic factoring operations


Factoring activities of the Romanian Bank for Development (BRD) have increased by 200% in comparison to the same period last year.  The total turnover resulting from factoring in 2004 was a staggering €121 million of which nearly half was acquired from its domestic factoring operations.   BRD launched its domestic factoring operations early last year as well as succeeding in achieving the status of full membership to Factors Chain International (FCI).
