Record attendance at FDA annual dinner and awards

Having attended eight out of the last nine FDA dinners I can tell you this year’s event, which was at the Grand Ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel, London, on the 29 May, surpassed the ones before in terms of attendance levels, entertainment and guest speakers to name but a few.

From the early and more formal occasions held in the Merchant Tailors’ Hall in Threadneedle Street, London, at which two- to three-hundred of the UK’s more senior receivables finance executives attended, the occasion now requires a venue for around 700. This year’s annual dinner included high profile speakers, a live band, dancing and even magicians. The guest speakers were Steven Norris, Conservative candidate for London Mayor and comedy actor Richard Wilson OBE.
