Federation of Industries (FOI) president Anton Borg launched the forthcoming FOI conference to be held on 30 March when he addressed a news conference on Friday.
"Thanks to the encouragement and assistance given by the British High Commission and Bank of Valletta plc, the Federation has decided to focus this conference on the challenge of how small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can reposition themselves in the global market, taking the various factors, including human resources, into the debate."
Mr Borg continued: "In fact, the forthcoming conference will be spread over a whole day due to the extensive number of topics related to such a debate. In the morning, the conference will be split into two sessions.
