Raiffeisenbank gets Ђ10m credit line to fund SMEs

Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria received a Ђ10m credit line to finance the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The funds are provided by Germany's Kreditanstalt fuer Wiederaufbau (KfW) with the support of the European Union.

The credit line can be used for financing investment projects and for turnover capital. Borrowers can be Bulgarian private companies in the SMEs, as well as freelancers. The size of a loan will reach up to Ђ250,000. The maximum term of financing is seven years.

This is the second credit line for SMEs signed by Raiffeisenbank. The first one was agreed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in 2002 and was absorbed in less than a year.
