Polish factoring poised to return to growth in 2024

The factoring market experienced a modest decline in turnover by the close of 2023. However, a resurgence is expected in the coming year, with the average value of a factored invoice approaching PLN 10,000 (€2,286), a notable increase from PLN 7,824 in 2022 and PLN 8,943 in 2023, according to the National Debt Register Economic Information Office (KRD BIG). This growth is attributed not only to inflation and the escalating prices of goods and services but also to the broader adoption of factoring, especially within the SME sector.
