Parex Bank seizes leasing opportunities in CIS countries


The Latvian bank Parex plans to exploit leasing opportunities in the transport sector by targeting the Commonwealth of Independent States.  Profitability in these markets is thought to be extremely high and the bank will acquire and open new leasing companies in several of these countries. Parex founded its leasing company in April 2004 in Azerbajan’s capital Baku and currently operates Parex lizings in Moscow, Ekspress lizings in St. Petersburg(Russia),Laska lizings in Kiev, Uukraine and Parex lizings in Minsk, Belarus. Source:  Dienas Bizness
