Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has constituted a separate Sub-Committee under the State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) called the Sub-Committee of SLBC for Export Promotion.
The committee will handle various problems faced by exporters at the State level.
It will include local exporter associations, leading banks, director general of Foreign Trade, Exim Bank and RBI as members of the committee. RBI has wound up the State Level Export Promotion Committee.
