The Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Banca Commerciala Romana (BCR) signed a contract for a new financing line worth ROL1000 billion on 13 August 2003. The BCR financing line for Romanian SMEs is valid for the next four years.
SMEs who apply need to make a contribution of a minimum of 15% of the total value of the project it submits for financial help from BCR. Only those SMEs that have made a profit for at least three months in a row and have paid all debts to the Romanian state before submitting a financing request will be eligible.
