New factoring company with ambitious plans enters Polish market

GMAC Commercial Finance is a new player in the Polish market of factoring services.

The company plans to conquer one-third of the Polish market within 3 years by strengthening its brand's market profile.

The services offered by GMAC include registration of receivables and monitoring of payments, settling payments and collections.

It also assumes the risk of buyers' insolvency.

The company will also offer financing for the purchase of fixed assets, raw materials and other goods.

Its management believes that Poland has the highest potential for development among (Central & Eastern European) CEE countries.

Market research has shown that over 80 per cent of two million entrepreneurs do not use external financing, including factoring services.

GMAC management says its goal is to gain 30 per cent of the Polish market and be the top provider of factoring.
