New EBRD euro 20 million credit line

The European Bank for reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Budapest Lizing Rt have signed a contract on a Ђ20 million credit line, the credit institution announced yesterday.

Under the programme, completed with an incentive package worth a further Ђ3 million from the EU, micro companies and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will receive fresh funds to a value of a maximum Ђ125,000 each.

The EU-EBRD SME financing programme was launched by the European Commission and the EBRD in 1999, as part of the Phare programme aimed at developing SMEs in the ten EU accession countries.
