MiFinanzas launches invoice finance for SMEs in Uruguay

After four years of sustained growth and having granted more than US$60m to small and medium-sized companies, the Uruguayan start-up that revolutionized access to financing for SMEs with the discount of checks , now adds the advance of invoices.

Launched in 2017, the platform unites companies that have documents receivable (checks or invoices) with investors who seek to make their savings profitable by advancing payments. It is a solution for the financial mismatches of SMEs that sell on credit and then have difficulties in reaching payment, a very widespread problem in the productive sector.

"We work hard to make it an accessible, agile and easy-to-use service", states Milton Rodríguez, CEO of MiFinanzas, highlighting that factoring "will allow SMEs to finance working capital, leverage growth and regain stability after a very difficult year”.
