MFB launches new HUF 2bn ( Ђ8,115.41) loan programme for micro businesses


The Hungarian Development Bank (MFB) has signed a contract with Budapesti Vallalkozasfejlesztesi Kozalapitvany (BVK) subsidiary Enterprise '94 to launch the Mikrohitel Plusz credit programme for businesses in Budapest and Pest County. The programme will provide HUF 2bn (€8,115.41)  of finance for micro-businesses and will eventually be available throughout the country. The 10-year loans are available at the central bank's base rate, currently 7 per cent and can be obtained through local Business Development Centres (HVK). MFB will sign a separate contract with each HVK and pay for the agent's commission and credit guarantee.
