The management team at Grafham Holdings Ltd is celebrating the successful management buy-out of Hovat Limited from parent SJP Group and the subsequent acquisition of Ascom Addressing Limited, creating one of the largest producers of labels in the UK. The management team turned to Ivor McTighe at Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance to help finance the near Ј3 million deal via invoice discounting and stock funding.
Hovat Limited is a market leader in the printing of packaging for the food industry, servicing blue chip clients such as supermarkets’ own-brand lines. It also produces self-adhesive labels which are branded by clients in the computer and stationery industries. Ascom Addressing Limited is a specialist producer of its own branded address labels, which is a widely known consumer brand.
