BCR talks to Deutsche Factoring Bank spokesman, Karl Joachim Lubitz about the most significant issues in the German factoring market today.

One of the most important players in German factoring market, Deutsche Factoring Bank is based in Bremen, Germany and is a member of the Sparkassen -Finanzgruppe, by far the biggest banking group in Germany.

With its focus mainly on non-recourse factoring, Deutsche Factoring Bank holds a 96 per cent share of total factored volume. Other business activities include all the major variations of domestic, export and import factoring. Deutsche Factoring Bank limits its debtor risks by using credit insurers and as a member of Factors Chain International (FCI), limits international business risks with appropriate payment guarantees from FCI correspondents
