Jean Pierre Gaertner presents the latest analysis of the French market


Market Performance and Supply  Factoring operations continued to develop, but the rate of growth has slowed in 2000, as it did in 1999. The total amount of debts handled by specialised institutions in 2000 totalled €60 billion (FF393.8bn) which was an increase of 14.4% compared with 1999. The three leading factors, Eurofactor (created from the merger between SFF and Slifac), Facto-France Heller and Factorem made up 71% of the market share.
