Inter-Europa Bank to borrow Ђ25m to finance SME projects


Inter-Europa Bank will take out a Ђ25m loan from parent bank SanPaolo IMI SpA under a recently signed agreement to finance SME projects, the Hungarian bank announced.

The loan is part of a Ђ100m global loan made available by the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the east-European banking subsidiaries of the SanPaolo group under an agreement between EIB and SanPaolo IMI. The Ђ100m loan has been designed to project finance for small-and medium-size companies (SMEs).
