Inspiration and wit in equal measure at FDA staff forum

On 12 June, over 160 people turned out to listen to Robert Swann OBE (an explorer and environmental campaigner and the first person to walk unassisted to both Poles) at the latest FDA Staff Forum. The event, sponsored by Experian, ICC Credit and RSM Robson Rhodes, was held at the Renaissance Manchester Hotel and began at 6pm with staff from Member companies arriving for a few hours of relaxed networking and a few drinks before the Guest Speakers took to the stage.

Neil McGivern, MD of Bibby Factors NorthWest and Director of the FDA Operations Directors Forum, hosted the evening's events. Firstly he introduced Simon Daisley, from Profusion International, who spoke about 'Pure Communication' and the importance of actively listening to people as much as actively speaking.
