Insolvency practitioners association slams banks over Brumark


John Verrill, the Vice President of R3, the body representing insolvency practitioners and company doctors, slammed the banks for delaying payments of up to Ј200m to creditors of insolvent companies at the “Future of Corporate Rescue Culture in the UK” conference in London. The comment comes after UK banks have continued to refuse to accept that a Privy Council judgment on the Brumark case, affects them in any way.
