Inner city areas across the country could soon have their own Business Plans to aid regeneration following the launch of four new pilot projects today by Minister for Small Business Nigel Griffiths.
Nottingham, Plymouth, St Helens and London have been selected to pilot a 'City Growth' Strategy. Each area will develop a blueprint for all of the partners involved in regeneration intended to create a fertile ground for budding new businesses whilst helping existing firms to flourish. In particular the strategies will focus on the economic advantages rather than the social disadvantages of each pilot area making them more attractive to business.
