ICISA: REPRESENTING THE INDUSTRY LEADERS
About ICISA
The International Credit Insurance & Surety Association (ICISA) brings together companies who write credit insurance and/or guarantee lines. ICISA was established in Paris in 1928 as ICIA (International Credit Insurance Association). Since then it has grown to 52 members in 26 countries and includes the three largest credit insurance groups (Euler-Hermes, Gerling-NCM and Coface) as well as the three leading reinsurance companies (Munich Re, Swiss Re and Hannover Re). Surety members include the Chubb, St. Paul and Travelers groups.
In order to reflect the activities of all its members more accurately the association changed its name to International Credit Insurance & Surety Association in 2001.
