HSBC names new Head of Sustainability for Commercial Banking APAC


HSBC announces that Sunil Veetil has been appointed Head of Sustainability for Commercial Banking Asia-Pacific. Sunil will start in his new role on 1 August, subject to regulatory approval.

 Sunil brings 24 years of banking experience with stints in Indonesia, South Korea, and across the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. He will relocate from Dubai, where he is currently the bank’s head of global trade and receivables finance for MENA and Turkey, to take on the newly created role.
