Higher industrial output helps drive 33% increase in Polish factoring

In the first six months of 2022 the Polish factoring market grew 33 per cent year-on-year according to the Polish Factors Association (PFA), which was partly the result of a substantial increase in industrial activity. The market grew from PLN 167.4bn (EUR 35.75bn) in the first six months of 2021 to PLN 223bn (EUR 47.62bn) in the first six months of 2022. This was beyond the expectations of the PFA, which in April 2022 recorded a 25 per cent increase in the market for the first two months of the year.
