Hebros Bank completed the first stage of their national education campaign about bank credit financing offered to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
Under the title "My Perspective - Financing SMEs" the campaign included a series of nine seminars all over the country, involving more than 1000 participants in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Bourgas, Pleven, Veliko Turnovo, Rousse, Varna and Blagoevgrad.
"In the past few years, SMEs have been functioning in an atmosphere of economic stability, therefore Hebros Bank created a strong programme for financing this sector in Bulgaria," said Gautam Vir, executive director of Hebros Bank. He added that the Perspectives programme is strongly dedicated to the needs of business.
"By the year-end we plan to extend loans of over 100m leva under the programme. We will double our credit portfolio for the sector and win a bigger share of the market," Vir said.
