Hansabankas report 55% growth in leasing services


The Hansabankas Group has seen its leasing contracts grow by 55% from the same period last year to LTL 338.4m in Q1. The group includes Hansa Lizingas and Baltijos Autolizingas. It reports the greatest share of leasing sales as represented by commercial vehicles and equipment sales with the group leasing portfolio exceeding LTL 1.5 bn in April.  Andrius Urbonas, general manager of Hansa Lizingas said,“The growing economy demands increasing investment and this opens favourable conditions for the development of financial services such as leasing and factoring.”  According to the Lithuanian Leasing Association, Hansabankas’ market share is up by 1.2 in Q1 and accounts for 36.35 per cent of the entire country’s leasing portfolio.  Source: Verslo Zinios
