GMAC Commercial Finance Group has begun operations in the Polish market. The company is offering its customers a record keeping service of liabilities, monitoring the timeliness of debt repayments, vindication services and taking over the risk of customers' inability to return unpaid debts.
"In cooperation with KPMG we have conducted market research and it turned out that out of 2 million corporations 80% of them do not outsource financial services, including factoring. This is a huge opportunity for us," said GMAC Commercial Finance Group president Jay Craig.
According to the company's estimates, GMAC is capable of increasing the segment turnover by 730% within a period of five years. GMAC has set itself a target to control 30% of the domestic factoring market within three years.
