Further to the recent Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (EFIC) statement regarding the sale of EFIC's short-term export credit insurance business to GERLING NCM (EFIC Press Release: 14 August 2003), GERLING NCM has received the appropriate licence from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority. The sale completion is planned for 30 September 2003.
