As was discussed at some length in the first parts of this weekly series, technology is and will remain an important force in driving advances in the way we work, live and communicate with each other. I looked at a number of trends in technology and their impact on the factoring industry in the prior part of this series. While these trends are important, they also sometimes lead us draw conclusions about the future of work that are not accurate. In this installment, I will introduce some common assumed myths about the structure of work and comment on each. A more robust discussion of these myths can be found in the research completed by Get Smarter, Inc.
