Foreign direct investment in Russia could hit $6.5 bn in 2003


Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Russia could hit $6 billion - $6.5 billion in 2003. FDI has been growing at a rate of approximately 50% so far this year, German Gref, the economy minister, said at the World Economic Forum. A more accurate picture might emerge in a couple of weeks, when statistics for capital movement in the third quarter are ready, Gref said.
