Abbey National has re-branded its First National Business Finance operation to Abbey National business as from 1 September 2002.
The move follows research demonstrating that customers and intermediaries were attracted to the prospect of a range of business financial products under the single brand name of Abbey National business.
First National Invoice Finance commenced trading in 1971 and has been part of Abbey National since 1995.
Gary Hockey-Morley, Director, Abbey National business, said: “We are committed to being at the forefront of change in the small business banking and finance market and attacking the market share of the Big Four. By re-branding our products with the Abbey National name, we are embracing the brand values that have made our retail bank so successful and we will see a significant boost in awareness.
