FDI in Bulgaria down by 60 per cent


Foreign direct investments (FDI) in Bulgaria have gone down by nearly 60.5 per cent over the first two months of 2004 compared to the same period in 2003.

Bulgarian national bank reported that FDI in Bulgaria in January and February amounted to US$ 60.1 million.

The Netherlands tops the list of the foreign investors in Bulgaria with 26.3 per cent. Greece and the US are close behind the leader.
