FDA Announce the Appointment of New Chairman

Tony Cox, Managing Director of Venture Finance PLC, has been appointed Chairman of the Factors & Discounters Association (FDA). The FDA is the trade association that represents the interests of factors, discounters and asset-based lenders in the UK.

Tony begins his twelve-month tenure this month, taking over from current FDA Chairman, Paul Hancock, the Managing Director of Bank of America’s European Business Credit Division.

Tony has been in the industry for 25 years. He first joined International Factors Ltd as Finance Director, and then spent seven years as Sales & Marketing Director. Tony in 1989 then founded Venture Finance PLC, selling the business in 1992 to the IFN Group B.V. (100% subsidiary of ABN AMRO). Tony has remained as Managing Director of Venture Finance ever since.
